One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. We are teaming up with Players For The Planet, a non-profit organization working to unite all athletes to bring lasting and measurable transformation to the Earth. Together we are planting trees around the world and making a big impact.
Trees play a vital role in creating clean air and water, a healthy climate, and providing habitats for wildlife. These reforestation projects will support environmental conservation and restoration in forests around the world. When you sign up, you can cap your monthly donations at any amount so you don’t have to worry. If your player has an amazing month, your donation will max out at your predetermined limit and reset the following month.
Momentum processes all of your donations and makes security a top priority. Payment information is stored securely by Stripe which is subject to stringent regulations, including regular NACHA audits and compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS), which includes monthly vulnerability scanning.
Nope, Playing for Reforestation doesn't charge any platform fees - it's free to use. Donors can choose to add a voluntary tip if they would like.
Your tip helps cover operating costs for our payment partner, Momentum. Your tip allows them to continue to function as an organization that provides services for campaigns like ours entirely for free.
Our partner, Momentum, withdraws donations once a month. You can cancel any donations you have made up until they are withdrawn, at which point donations are not refundable. To cancel your pending donations, please contact: hello@onetreeplanted.org.
